For more than 30 years, Dr. Scott Myers has remained at the forefront of treatment, diagnosis, and technological advancements in the dental industry. In addition to an award-winning teaching background, his career has also included significant contributions toward strengthening the operational and financial performance of dental and oral health organizations.
Dr. Myers received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry. He is currently the Dental Director at St. Vincent De Paul, where he oversees critical operational functions of a 16-share, 11,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art dental clinic. As an international philanthropic organization, St. Vincent De Paul is dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive treatment services to underserved populations. Dr. Myers has proven to be a driving force behind expanding and modernizing the clinic, while lowering its costs.
Dr. Myers previously spent more than a decade at A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH), Mesa, Arizona. He began as the Co-Director, Office of Clinical Education before advancing to Comprehensive Care Unit Director and Co-Director, Clinical Affairs Office. Notably, he directed the institution’s top-producing clinic, generated more than $1M in net operating savings, and helped more than 500 students enter in prestigious postgraduate residences. During this this time, he was both a member of the faculty at ATSU-ASDOH and a Board Examiner at the Western Regional Examining Board.
